Timetable & Attendance · Academic

Know who is in every lesson,
not just who arrived this morning.

Timetable & Attendance gives every class a weekly timetable and every lesson its own register. Teachers mark it in seconds on the web or the FirstDay app, and the office sees which registers are still open.

Every lesson running now, and how far its register has got.

The timetable is in one place, the registers in another.

  1. Today · 01

    Two systems that don't talk

The timetable lives in a spreadsheet or a separate tool, and the registers are paper or a form that has no idea which lessons happen today.

  2. Today · 02

Missing registers found by walking the corridor

Nobody knows which registers weren't taken until someone checks class by class, and the reminder is a note in a pigeonhole.

  3. Today · 03

A teacher calls in sick and the morning unravels

Someone works out by hand which lessons are affected, who is free to cover them, and how to tell everyone before the first bell.

One timetable, one register per lesson, one view of what's missing.

  1. Registers that come from the timetable

Every lesson opens a register with the right class, the right pupils and the right teacher, including teaching groups for sets and electives.

  2. Missing registers you can see, and chase

Each teacher's 7- and 30-day submission rate and every missed register are on one screen. Teachers are reminded each morning about yesterday's.

  3. Cover planned in one sitting

Declare the absence and FirstDay lists the lessons affected, ranks who could cover, emails each covering teacher and prints the Morning Bulletin.

From the weekly timetable to a submitted register.

  1. 01

    Build or generate the timetable

Add lessons in the grid, or set out your week, curriculum and teachers in the planner and generate a clash-free draft. Work on a new version and publish it from the date you choose.

  2. 02

    Teachers take the register

Each teacher sees their own lessons. Mark everyone present and change the exceptions, copy an earlier register, or scan student cards. Planned absences and trips are already filled in.

Present, late, absent, excused or off-site, one tap per pupil.
  3. 03

    The office sees it live

The live board shows every lesson running now and how much of its register is marked. Holidays close registers for the whole school, so nobody is chased on an inset day.

  4. 04

    Chase, export and cover

Missed registers are listed by teacher and can be printed as a chase list. Every mark is in the attendance log with a CSV export, and absent teachers' lessons are covered from the same timetable.

Questions about
Timetable & Attendance.

How is Timetable & Attendance priced?

20 zł (€5) per enrolled student per month, so the price follows your school size. Archived students aren't counted, and there is no charge per teacher, per class or per kiosk.

Does it need other modules?

No. It runs on your class lists and student records. Fire Drill, Assessments and Staff Absence & HR are built on top of it, so it is the module to start with if you want any of them.

Who can see and mark which registers?

Teachers see and mark only the lessons they teach. A Head of Year can read every register without marking it, and only staff you choose can reopen or override one. Corrections after submitting are written to the audit log.

How do we get our timetable in?

Add lessons in the grid, or use the planner: set the school week, how many periods each class needs of each subject and who can teach what, then generate a clash-free draft to review and accept.

Do teachers need the mobile app?

No. Everything works in the browser. The FirstDay mobile app gives teachers today's lessons, the register and their week on their phone, if they prefer it.

Does it tell parents when a child is absent?

Not today. Registers, reminders and alerts are for staff only. When a family tells the office about an absence in advance, the office records it once and it is applied to every register it covers.
