Tuition collected every month,
and every late payer in view.
Tuition Payments sends each family a Stripe payment link, or a numbered invoice to pay by transfer, from the fee agreement you keep in School Invoicing, then shows the bursar who is behind.
Runs on top of School Invoicing, so switch that on too.
Collecting tuition shouldn't mean reading the bank statement.

Paid when families remember
Tuition arrives by transfer, on whatever day a family gets round to it, and the only way to know who has paid is to read the statement.
- Today · 02
Card payments in a separate system
If you do take cards, the payments sit in a payment dashboard that doesn't know which child or which invoice they belong to.
- Today · 03
Chasing depends on who has time
The list of families who are behind is built by hand, and reminders go out in the weeks someone has an hour to spare.
Set up once, collected every cycle.
Payment set up once
A family completes one Stripe payment link and the card is charged every month or year. Families who prefer to transfer get each instalment's invoice issued and emailed on its due date.
Every payment on the right family
Each Stripe payment is recorded in School Invoicing against that family's open invoices, so the bursar works from one ledger, not two.
Who is behind, without opening Stripe
The Unpaid filter shows each family's amount due, days overdue and last reminder, and reminder emails go out from FirstDay in your school's name.
From fee agreement to money in the bank.
- 01
Connect Stripe, or start with transfers
Connect your school's own Stripe account from the Billing page; onboarding can be paused and resumed. Until it is connected, everything works by bank transfer.
- 02
Send a link or a first invoice
From one family's row, or for a whole year group or class at once. Each family gets what its payer is set up for: a Stripe Checkout link or a first invoice with your bank details.
One batch for a whole class, with a result for every family. - 03
Collection runs on its own
Stripe charges the card each cycle and FirstDay records the payment. Bank-transfer instalments are invoiced automatically; mark them paid in one click or import the bank statement.
- 04
Follow up who is behind
Filter to Unpaid and send reminders. A pupil who has started with no payment in place for 14 days is flagged for finance. FirstDay never removes a pupil on its own.
Who uses Tuition Payments
Bursar / Finance officer
Sends links and first invoices, sees who is behind and sends reminders, without logging in to Stripe.
Head / Director
An unpaid tuition tile on the dashboard with the count and total due.
Admissions
A start date on each payment link, so a family joining in September is not charged before then.
Families
One link to pay by card, or a numbered invoice with the school's bank details.

Tuition Payments.
Why does Tuition Payments need School Invoicing?
Payers, fee agreements, invoices and reminder rules all live in School Invoicing. Tuition Payments adds collection on top, and writes every payment back into that same ledger, so finance keeps one set of books.
Do we need our own Stripe account?
For card payments, yes. You set up the school's own Stripe account from the Billing page, through Stripe's onboarding. Payments go to that account, never to FirstDay. Without Stripe, families pay by bank transfer against numbered invoices.
What does Stripe do, and what does FirstDay do?
Stripe hosts the payment page, keeps the card details and charges them each cycle. FirstDay builds the charges from the fee agreement, sends the link, tracks each family's status, records every payment against their invoices and chases anyone who is behind.
How is it priced?
299 zł (€69) a month per school, whatever your headcount, on top of School Invoicing at 599 zł a month. FirstDay adds no fee per payment; Stripe charges its own processing fees to your Stripe account.
Who can send links or cancel a subscription?
Only staff you give tuition permissions to. Viewing, sending links, sending reminders and changing settings are separate rights, and cancelling a live subscription has its own. A suggested Finance officer role bundles them.
Are refunds reconciled automatically?
Not yet. A refund made in Stripe is logged for staff to follow up, and the family's ledger is adjusted by hand.
